I’m working on a book! (Happy face!)
It’s not about horses. (Sad face.)
And is time consuming. (Sadder face.)
BUT it pays well! (Happy face!)
So I can write more about horses. (Happy face again!)
One day… (Shrug. Face?)
Until then, here is some stuff I found lying around the InterWeb while procrastinating. It had a busy week, too. Enjoy!
- Go behind the scenes at Haras de Hus with Kevin Staut in issue four of Vision of the Horse. *sigh*
- More proof that horse people are crazy. And awesome. Trina Maus rides again.
- Say what you want about Camilla. She makes a pretty horse. (Thanks for the tip, Bill!)
.
- I know you would never do this to your hunter. *ahem* But, chances are you know someone who does. Consider it fair warning.
- Props to ProEquest for bringing us a peak inside the Saudi system: a pro’s dream come true.
Last, but not least: CONGRATULATIONS to lucky # 51, Nicole, who won of the Snap Collar Show Shirt from Hayward. (I’ll be in touch with the details.) For everyone else, stay tuned to your inbox. Hayward is giving YOU a $20 coupon. Just for entering! How great is that?!
While you wait, I suggest you bookmark the $100,000 Fidelity Investments Grand Prix at WEF. It runs tomorrow at 7:00pm. Just in case you need to procrastinate, too.

Thanks for the ProEquest shout out!
My pleasure. You’ve had some great editorial lately. Keep up the good work!
Holy moly there are a lot of horses in this class — and I missed the first half of it! I understand there have been some classes with even more in them. I suppose it makes sense given that it is an Olympic year: I think there were riders from Morocco, Denmark and Egypt in the portion of the class I watched. Seems like the youngsters are doing well again — two 19-year olds finished up the first round with clear rounds — I thought the girl from GBR rides very “North American”. Going to watch the jump off now…
Just got the info on my new show shirt, thanks. It’s a great start to my Monday morning.
